Andy has had a long career in investigations and compliance within UK Law Enforcement and, more recently, in the software industry. Andy reached the rank of Detective Chief Inspector, where towards the end of his career, he worked in Corruption and Organised Crime Investigations. Andy was also certified in Kidnap, Extortion, and Hostage Negotiation. Having left the Police Service in 2002, he joined IBM to develop and implement a software piracy program, leading to Andy joining Dassault Systemes in 2008. In the ten years with Dassault Systemes, the Licence compliance grew to become a global operation with a worldwide team, both internally and externally, which helped become a recognised business stream contributing value in revenue and reputation. In 2018 Andy took early retirement; however, in 2019, Andy joined CJCH Legal & Compliance Services as the Managing Director and has developed what was once a division of CJCH Solicitors into a global company (now CJCH Limited trading as CJCH Legal & Compliance Services). From 2023, Andy moved from the day-to-day running of the business to a more strategic role where he applies his knowledge and understanding of the license compliance world can be utilised to build awareness of the issues that relate to the use of unlicensed software and, in turn, grow the business to the next level of its evolution.
